Here at Trinity we got off to a slow start this year, but have begun to make some noise for the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund. As you must have read, it is a 'not for profit' organization begun by the Anglican Church in response to the Springhill mining disaster of 1958. Now PWRDF is a fully incorporated Christian organization, working with partners engaging in development work in Canada and abroad, responding to emergencies, working to protect refugees and educating and advocating for change. Thanks to your givings, we have been able to support PWRDF to the tune of $1,000 this January, and look forward to continuing the support via our envelopes and your very own dedicated donations. We plan to present vignettes throughout the year, so you will understand more about PWRDF, and have information and presentations on water, that which we all need to live, that which we all need to be clean and free.
